About the role
- This position reports to the Head of Training, and the primary role is to deliver exceptional training programmes which are compliant with the predefined regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a subject team and assist in the design and implementation of the training programmes
- Track their agreed development plan and qualify in all regulatory aviation subjects
- Conduct both practical and classroom training sessions for Cabin Crew including but not exclusive subjects: Aviation security, Dangerous Goods, Fire and smoke, SEP, First Aid, CRM, Customer/Cabin and Sales
- Take ownership of agreed performance objectives, competencies and development plan. Actively pursue self-directed learning in order to remain current and in line with industry best practice
- Ensure that changes to the business environment are analyzed and recorded and the training programme content is updated so to ensure learning solutions remain
- current and valid – when relevant and discussed with the head of training and/or chief cabin crew training instructor
- Accurately completing all required documentation in accordance with Cabin Crew Training Manual following the completion of each training course; maintaining accurate records of all trainees
- Implement plans in alignment with the departmental values, goals, and policies and demonstrate behaviors to represent and promote these and act as a victor in change management
Profil recherché pour le poste : Cabin Crew Training Instructor Requirements:
- Hold a Train the Trainer Qualification as well as a current Cabin Crew Licence
- Remain qualified in the regulatory subjects: SEP, hold an IATA or DFT Aviation Security qualifications, IATA CAT 6 in Dangerous goods, CRMI Qualification AHA/EHA or nursing qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years flying experience as a Cabin Crew Member of which a minimum of 2 years experience must have been operating as a Senior Cabin Crew Member
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity is critical for this role, together with the ability to influence diverse group of people through excellent
- communication and presentation techniques (English and French)
- Ability to gather and analyze data, draw meaningful conclusions and write and communicate comprehensive reports on the performance of individuals
- Demonstrate good knowledge of the MS office products
- Professional knowledge and skills in line with Aviation Industry Standards
- Excellent working knowledge of Cabin Crew Operations, Procedures and Operations Manual and the regulatory requirements
